Michael Don teaches in the English Department at Penn State University and is an editor and co-founder of Kikwetu: A Journal of East African Literature. He has also taught at St. Paul’s University in Nairobi, Kenya, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His work has appeared in Washington Square Review, Fiction International, The Cortland Review, Per Contra, SmokeLong Quarterly, The Southampton Review, and elsewhere. He has an MFA in fiction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri.
